How Baruxa Connects Business Data to Governed Decisions
The important connection is not another data pipe. It is the trace from an operational number to a permitted action and a verified business result.
Every proposed action should be traceable back to a source, metric definition and policy decision.
1. Begin with a scoped source
Baruxa’s public product model starts with business data: commerce, payments, CRM and warehouse records. For warehouse access, the described approach is to read a view defined by the customer rather than demand broad access to a whole database. Warehouse integrations and some partner checks are in testing during the private beta; connector availability should be confirmed for each deployment.
A source contract should name the owner, refresh interval, fields, retention expectation and allowed use. That gives a metric a stable starting point and makes a broken refresh visible before it changes a decision.
2. Make the metric inspectable
Baruxa describes a Data Refinery for profiling, cleaning and reconciling data, followed by a Trust Score on metrics. The useful property of a score is its breakdown: freshness, coverage, tests and reconciliation, with lineage to the source. A single green badge without those components would hide why a number should be trusted.
Consider net revenue. Gross orders, refunds, tax and currency conversion need one explicit definition and time window. If refunds arrive late, the freshness signal should change. A downstream decision should see that change instead of quietly using yesterday’s confidence.
3. Turn evidence into a governed choice
A decision candidate connects a business observation to a proposed intervention: for example, review a promotion that lifts orders but erodes margin after returns. It carries the expected benefit, cost, dependencies and a reference to the metric version that produced it.
Before any action, a control layer checks rules, scope and approval. For an AI agent, this is especially important: the agent may request an action, while the business system determines whether the request is allowed. The outcome is a decision with a reason, not a model response treated as authority.
4. Close the loop on outcomes
The action ledger connects approval, execution and result. A complete record distinguishes “approved”, “attempted”, “completed” and “effective”. A promotion paused successfully is a completed action; proving that margin improved requires a separate comparison against a baseline over a defined period.
This end-to-end path is the practical meaning of verified business outcomes. It does not imply every improvement was caused by one action. The baseline, cohort and measurement window should be explicit so teams can challenge the claim.
