The Metorik alternative that acts on your numbers

Metorik is an established reporting, segmentation and email app for WooCommerce and Shopify stores. Baruxa, in private beta, is a decision layer for any business, beyond the store: it scores how reliable each number is, proposes decisions and runs them only after you approve. Mature store reports and email today? Metorik. Decisions acted on? Baruxa, or both.

Three reasons to pick Baruxa over Metorik

  • Clean numbers, each with a score

The Data Refinery cleans and reconciles your sources, and every metric gets a Trust Score from 0 to 100. “View lineage” traces it to the source row.

  • Decisions that run when you say so

Six playbooks simulate first, then wait for your one-click approval or act within your budget. Kill-switch and second approver included.

  • Every action, written down

An append-only ledger records who approved what, when and on which data. If a source degrades, dependent playbooks pause themselves.

Questions store owners ask

What is the best alternative to Metorik?

It depends on what you need. Keep Metorik if you want mature reports, segments and Engage emails for a WooCommerce or Shopify store today. Choose Baruxa if your numbers live beyond the store and you want each one scored for reliability and turned into decisions that run only after you approve. Baruxa is in private beta, with general availability planned before December 2026, and you can run both side by side.

How much does Metorik cost?

Metorik publishes one plan with every feature and unlimited users, priced by monthly orders: $25 a month for up to 100 orders, up to $3,000 a month for 150,000. It includes a 30-day free trial. These figures come from Metorik’s pricing page and help docs, read on 4 October 2026.

How much does Baruxa cost compared with Metorik?

Baruxa Starter is $99 a month and Growth is $299, with Founding offers during the beta; Enterprise is quote-based. Metorik publishes one all-features plan priced by monthly orders, from $25 to $3,000 a month, with a 30-day free trial (as published on 4 October 2026).

Is Baruxa ready to use today?

Baruxa is in private beta, with general availability planned before December 2026. WooCommerce has already run end-to-end against a real store; Shopify, Stripe, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo and others are being certified with each provider during the beta.

How does Baruxa work with AI, and does it need it?

AI works both ways. The optional Copilot runs on Claude, GPT, Gemini or a self-hosted model, and any agent can read Baruxa’s exact metrics through its MCP server; actions still pass your rules and approvals. The numbers come from a deterministic core that also works without AI.

Can I use Metorik and Baruxa at the same time?

Yes. Both connect to your store, so you can keep Metorik for reports, segments and Engage emails, and add Baruxa for Trust Scores, decisions and approved actions. It is the calmest way to compare.

How do they handle data and security?

Metorik says each store’s data sits in its own isolated database, connects through OAuth, supports two-factor sign-in and is hosted in the US. Baruxa offers tenant isolation, MFA, custom roles, revocable sessions, SCIM 2.0 and an append-only ledger of every action.
